U18's Continue Great Start to the Season
By Stuart Morgan
The U18's continued their impressive start to the season as they once again over came Lancing at Hanbury
With Heath knocking Lancing out of the FA Youth cup just 7 days earlier they again put in a fine performance to make it 9 points from 9 in their opening 3 league matches of the season.
Ben Rakabopa opened the scoring after 12 minutes with a great strike from distance that flew past the Lancing keeper.
Heath's lead was doubled on 20 minutes when Ethan Carrick headed in and then Ben Rakabopa got his second with a fine header on 38 minutes.
The second half saw Heath add another 6 goals to the for column, just before the hour Ollie Broad finished well and then on 70 and 71 minutes Mo Juwara grabbed a quick fire double first seeing his free kick flick off the wall and up and over the keeper and then straight from the re start latching onto a loose pass and finishing well into the corner.
Joey Bines got his first of the season on 76 minutes finishing from close range.
On 85 Ethan Carrick got his second of the match before Aaron Raymond wrapped up the game on 88 minutes.
Heath played some great football but credit to Lancing for fighting to the end and still pressing to score up to the final whistle.
