Weekend Preview

By Stuart Morgan

Back to Action for the 1st team and the U18's face a semi final clash

After a weeks break the 1st team return to action as they welcome Whyteleafe to Hanbury.

Heath pulled off a real shock 2 weeks back beating Hastings Utd 4-2 on their own patch where they had lost just the once this season. The win strengthened their play off position and despite a week off last week they remined in the play off zone with a 9 point gap over Hythe Town who sit in 6th.

Whyteleafe have had a dip in form of late but still sit in 7th position but 11 points off the play off places.

When the two sides met earlier in the season Heath took an early lead with a great headed goal from Andy Dalhouse, shortly after the break Byron Napper doubled Heath's lead before Whyteleafe hit back and tied the match up scoring in the 55th and 77th minute. The match seemed to be heading for a draw but 3 minutes from time Dan Hector turned the ball past his own keeper.

It was a well contested match that day and more is expected tomorrow

Kick Off 3pm - Hanbury Stadium

On Sunday newly crowned champions Heath 18's will travel to Newhaven in the semi final of the league cup. Newhaven top their league and will no doubt go on to lift the title and so it is going to be a very tough match for both sides for a place in the final.
