Weekend Preview

By Stuart Morgan

Heath face a tough test at VCD Athletic and the U18's play their final league match away at Hassocks FC

Heath make their first trip to VCD Athletic as they play their final match in March.

VCD were the first side Heath faced in our maiden Bostik season and on the 18th of August Heath went down 1-0 to the visitors to Hanbury that day with Leon Lalor-Dell scoring in the 34th minute.

It will be a much changed side than went the sides met on the opening day with just 6 Heath players figuring that day that also featured last week away at Cray Wanderers.

Nine points separate the sides with Heath sitting in 5th on 56 points and VCD in 7th on 47 points, Heath have scored 60 so far this season with VCD scoring 58 of which striker Charlie MacDonald has got 24 of them in 29 appearances.

Amazingly VCD have drawn just 2 matches this season so it's fair to say they will be all out for a win in the hope to close the gap to 6 points come 5pm

Kick Off 3pm - Oakwood

On Sunday the U18's make the short trip to Hassocks FC where they play their final league game of the season as champions against last seasons champions.

They still have the champion of champion's match to play later in April but they will look to finish their league season on a high.
