Weekend Preview as Heath Welcome Herne Bay FC

By Stuart Morgan

Heath welcome Herne Bay this Saturday to Hanbury as they look to improve on their home form.

Heath will face Herne Bay tomorrow and will need to turn on the style to keep their noses in the promotion play off race, with Whyteleafe, Hythe Town and VCD Athletic all within 4 points of Heath it really is a take one match at a time.

Herne Bay have shown the best and the worst of late with a huge 4-1 win over Hastings but followed this up with big defeats against Cray and Ramsgate 6-0 and 5-1 respectively.

When Heath traveled to Herne Bay on the 17th November they came away with all three points with Callum Saunders finish when the match was just 12 minutes old, on the day though Herne Bay showed plenty more than their position would tell as they had plenty of chances to equalise but just couldn't.

There is hope that the pitch will drain well over night once the rain stops and the wind continues to blow but any updates will be posted via social media tomorrow (no news = good news)

Kick Off 3pm - Hanbury Stadium

On Sunday the U18's return to action with a difficult test against last season champions Hassocks FC, a win for the U18's will let them put one hand on the trophy but as the reverse fixture showed it will not be a walk in the park.

Kick Off 11am - The Beacon (weather permitting)
