Heath End Pre Season on a High
By Stuart Morgan
Heath rounded off pre season with a win at a well drilled Billingshurst
Heath completed their pre season campaign with a win at Billingshurst.
A very welcoming club which is progressing really well off the field with improvements that will tick lots of ground grading boxes and we wish them well in their progression.
The have a new manager at the helm and one that has had several stints with Heath in Luis Freitas and it was clear from the outset last night that the team are instructed to get the ball down and play.
Heath controlled large parts of play but took until the 29th minute to open the scoring when Kane Louis rifled home at the near post.
the goal of the game came on 37 minutes when center back Nathan Cooper turned provider on the right crossing for Lewis Finney to score a diving header from an almost impossible angle taking his scoring total in pre season to 3 from 4 games.
Just before the break Patrick Adwasi was brought down after some neat footwork and Luc Dohery stepped up and converted.
After the break the usual swapping of players begun and made the game somewhat disjointed as players adjusted to positions.
With 9 minutes of the match remaining Billinghurst scored the only goal of the half when Tilley found the corner for a much deserved consolation.
