Heath Continue Success on the Road
By Stuart Morgan
Andrew Dalhouse and Byron Napper helped Heath to another 3 points on the road against a very good Whyteleafe side
Heath's Manager gave a clear warning prior to today's match after last Tuesday's herorics and that was to knuckle down and get a job done and that the players certainly did.
Today's hosts Whyteleafe have had a great start to the season and good cup run which saw them sitting in 6th place with a couple of games in hand over teams around them, for Heath a win would see them go equal on points with their hosts.
Heath really did start where they left off last match and were ahead inside 10 minutes when Kieran Rowe broke free down the right and put a perfect cross that Andrew Dalhouse met and guided his header into the back of the net for his 6th goal in 6 games.
Whyteleafe 0-1 Heath
The hosts were lively going forwards but often too quick as were caught by a tight back line and saw the assistants flag raised for offside on 4 or 5 occasions in the first half.
Whyteleafe started to work themselves back into the game and after dragging an effort wide from distance, Heath resonded through Karly Akehurst but his header went over the bar not troubling the keeper .
The remainder of the half saw an even contest between the sides, Josh Heyburn had to make a smart stop at his near post on 27 minutes, Andrew Dalhouse then almost completed a fine Heath move 4 minutes later but the keeper was quickly out at his feet to make the stop as he pulled the trigger.

Heath were a little slow out of the dressing rooms as the hosts seemed to start the second half brighter but this changed after 3 minutes when Byron Napper grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and drove at the Whyteleafe players and quick interchange with Karly Akehurst saw him free and he lifted the ball over the keeper with a calm finish for his first ever Heath goal.
Whyteleafe 0-2 Heath
The second goal didn't do Heath any real favours as the hosts suddenly came alive and Heath had to endure a large amount of pressure, that pressure did finally pay dividends for Whyteleafe, a warning was there on 52 minutes when Josh Heyburn was called upon to make a smart stop down low but couldn't do anything on 55 minutes when Heath gave away possession too easily and substitute Harrison Carnegie rifled his shot low into the back of the net.
Whyteleafe 1-2 Heath
Whyteleafe continued to push on in search of an equaliser and after 2 stops from Josh Heyburn the keeper showed his quality on 71 minutes as a Whyteleafe corner came in a free header inside the 6 yard box brought the best out of the Heath keeper with a fantastic reaction save to turn the ball over.
Just when Heath seemed to have weathered the Whyteleafe storm the hosts bagged themselves an equaliser, a good move down the right saw the ball in not dealt with by the Heath defence and substitute Scott Day slid in at the back post to tuck the ball in.
Whyteleafe 2-2 Heath
The game now finally balanced it would seem that the points would be shared but with 87 minutes played Max Miller again opened his legs down the right and his deep cross was aimed towards Alex Laing and Andrew Dalhouse but it was the Whyteleafe number 7 Dan Hector who got his head to it but somehow put it past his own keeper.
Heath managed to see out the remaining few minutes for a great 3 points on the road once again.
